CORNWALL POWERCHAIR FOOTBALL CLUB

Celtic Storm have the services of one paid Level 2 FA coach and two volunteer Level 1FA coaches.

Kevin Barnes has been involved with the club since the taster days of late 2005. He runs football and fitness classes throughout Cornwall and works in many of the Cornish schools. Kevin is employed by the club as a Level 2 coach. He motivates the players and brings a wealth of experience to the coaching of the club players. He has travelled with the club to Nottingham and Kettering for league fixtures.

Tim Kellett (left) and Rob Reading (right) try out two of the new chairs, financed by The Variety Club and supplied by Cornwall Mobility Centre. Not being wheelchair users themselves, they were quite surprised at the power and speed of these machines but loved the opportunity to try them out!

Tim and Rob have also been involved in the club from the very beginning. They became Level 1 coaches in 2006 and now enjoy assisting with training and running some of the sessions as volunteers. These two also travel with the club, assisting in coaching, cheering the players on and keeping morale high!
